SACRAMENTS
INTRODUCTION
The spiritual life of the Parish revolves around the seven
sacraments. These sacraments celebrate the
sacred moments in our lives through community presence. They are
visible
signs of our ever-changing relationship with our Church and our God.
BAPTISM
Baptisms are celebrated
monthly. Every other month, they alternate between private celebrations
and those conducted as part of Saturday's 5 PM and Sunday's 8:00 and 10:30 AM Masses.
In all cases, though, Baptism remains the premiere sacramental welcome into our
Parish community. For further information, click on "for
Adults" at left.
RECONCILIATION
The sacrament of reconciliation is available every Saturday afternoon at
4:00 PM
or anytime by appointment. Communal penance services are also offered during
Advent and Lent. For a child's First Reconciliation, click on "for
Children"
at left.
EUCHARIST
This sacrament is available every day of the week except Monday during the
celebration of the Mass. For actual times, click on "HOME Page" at left. For a
child's First Eucharist, click on "for
Children" at left.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is the sealing of the gifts we received from the Holy Spirit at
our Baptism. Preparation for this sacrament is offered both through our RCIA
program (click on "for
Adults" at left) and through our youth programs
(click on "for Youth" at left).
MATRIMONY
Although every effort is made to
respect
the wishes of the bride and
groom, advanced planning is a must for the
celebration of this sacrament. Detailed information is available, offering readers
a thorough look at what can be expected of the Parish and what is
expected of the bride and groom. To review and/or print a copy, click here:
"Wedding Guidelines."
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
