Stewardship
INTRODUCTION
At St. Albert the
Great, sharing is a way of parish life. We share our time and
talent. We share our treasure. And it is through this sharing -- this
stewardship -- that we realize the full potential of living as a community of Christians.
SHARING YOUR TIME AND TALENT
There are numerous
opportunities for you to share your time and talent with
parishioners here at St. Alberts.
If you'd like to focus your attention on our programs, just click on one of the
links at left under "Programs."
If rolling up your sleeves and helping out at one of our many events is
appealing, a quick click on one of our "Event" links will open up all sorts of
volunteer opportunities for you.
Would you rather dedicate yourself to committee work or project
work? Then
any of the links under "Involvement" should work just fine.
SHARING YOUR TREASURE
Unlike sharing your time and talent, sharing your treasure is
more of a formal
process here
at St. Albert's. Each parishioner is asked to fill out a pledge card,
indicating to what extent he or she plans to share his or her financial treasure
with the parish. Typically, our parishioners make weekly pledges of between 1% and 10% of their weekly income. Some pledge more. Some pledge less. But
each person takes the time to fill out a commitment card, enabling our financial
staff to plan for future growth and plan for future bills.
